Development and Optimisation of a High Efficiency RF Power Amplifier

My master thesis, defended at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2024.

The presented work includes a comparison of technologies used for high frequency and high power amplification, with a special focus on latest LDMOS devices. It is followed by an in depth description of the theory of operation and an explanation of each design decision. The final chapters present the methodology for high-power amplifier measurements and an overview of the results. The thesis also includes a description of the software and an operating manual for the completed amplifier.
